QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Good questions
are welcome.

A few things you may want to know before we meet.

How do I book a first appointment?+

You can email me or use the contact page to request a free introductory conversation. We will find a time that works for both of us.

What happens in the introductory conversation?+

Our first conversation is free and lasts 20–30 minutes. We can talk about what brings you here, what you hope for, how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to share everything.

What does a typical session look like?+

Psychotherapy with me is primarily talk therapy: we talk. I am present and engaged in the room, not a silent observer. Together we explore what you feel, what happens between us, and the emotions and patterns that become visible. Sometimes we slow down to stay with an emotion or notice a bodily experience. Sessions usually last 60 minutes.

How do you work?+

AEDP is the main foundation of my relational, experiential work. We explore emotions together with curiosity, care and an active therapeutic relationship. When appropriate, we may integrate EMDR as a focused technique for difficult experiences; it is not a separate approach you need to choose.

Which languages do you offer?+

English, German and Hebrew.

How much does therapy cost?+

The standard fee is €150 for a 60-minute individual session. I offer a limited number of sliding-scale places (€50–€80) and some pro bono places when available. Please always reach out if money is a barrier; we can discuss what might be possible. Statutory health insurance in Germany generally does not cover Heilpraktiker psychotherapy.

What can I bring to therapy?+

Trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, identity and gender questions, sexuality, relationship changes, migration, attachment concerns or a sense that something in life needs attention.

What if I have never been to therapy?+

You do not need to prepare a perfect explanation. We can begin with whatever you know, including uncertainty.

How long does therapy last?+

That depends on your goals, circumstances and how our work develops. We will revisit this together.

Do you offer online sessions?+

Yes. I work in a hybrid format: in person at my practice in Berlin-Adlershof and online with clients around the world. We can discuss which format suits you and whether online psychotherapy is appropriate and available where you live.
