THERAPEUTIC GROUPS

Love, Sex & Attachment.

A 14-week relational support group for queer people and allies. Explore love, desire, attachment and the ways we connect, in a small group where you can be seen and heard.

A different way to explore connection.

trauma-informed SUPPORT GROUP · FOR QUEER PEOPLE AND ALLIES

Some of our hardest experiences show up in relationships: who we fall for, how close we let others get, and how we navigate conflict, jealousy, distance, shame, desire or the fear of being too much, or not enough.

This is a caring, professionally facilitated space to explore those patterns with queer people and allies, not as a one-off workshop but as a process that unfolds over time. You don't need to be struggling to join. Curiosity, willingness to reflect and openness to being in a group are enough to begin.

Group dynamics can feel uneasy, especially when earlier experiences of groups were painful. We make space for that, too.

What happens
in the group?

We meet weekly with the same people. Each week, one participant has dedicated focus, with room to share what is alive for them, be witnessed, receive gentle reflection and resonance, and explore relational and emotional patterns.

The group is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, inclusive, relational, process-oriented and structured without being rigid. It is not a drop-in group, a lecture, a skills class, a replacement for individual psychotherapy or an acute crisis service.

For some, it is a meaningful first experience of being emotionally seen by a group; for others, it complements ongoing individual therapy.

Practical
details.

Format: Closed support group, the same participants each week
Length: 14 weekly sessions, 90 minutes each
Size: 6–8 participants
Cost: Sliding scale of €20–€50 per session

Choose a rate that feels honest for your financial situation. If money is a barrier, say so when you apply and we can see what is possible. If you would like to contribute more to support someone else, you are welcome to mention that too.

I facilitate the group as a Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie, with AEDP- and EMDR-informed practice and a focus on queer clients, trauma, migration and attachment. Group facilitation is also part of my continuing training. I work with supervision, careful intake and clear boundaries about what this space can and cannot offer.

Is it a
good fit?

This group welcomes queer people and allies across relationship styles and ways of living, including monogamous and polyamorous people, kinky people, and people exploring what relationships mean to them. It may be for you if you want to explore love, dating, sex, intimacy or attachment with others; can listen as well as share; are open to gentle feedback; and can commit to attending regularly.

It may not be appropriate if you are currently in acute emotional crisis, need intensive individual support, or are primarily seeking educational or technique-based content. If you are unsure, we can explore that in the introductory check-in.

How to
join.

1. Apply using the short form below or email me. Tell me which group you are interested in. You do not need to share detailed personal or health information at this stage.

2. We have a brief check-in. I'll invite you to a 15-minute call, or a 30-minute consultation if needed. We can talk about fit, safety, expectations and your questions. Then I'll confirm your place if it feels right on both sides.

Confidentiality
& care.

What is shared in the group stays in the group. Everyone commits to protecting participants' names, identities and personal stories, including in conversations with friends or partners and on social media. Even anonymous retellings can identify someone.

As facilitator I have professional confidentiality obligations, and participants agree to uphold the group's confidentiality commitments. These commitments are essential for trust, though no group can guarantee absolute confidentiality from every participant.

We take boundaries, group safety and different needs seriously, and keep talking about what support is appropriate.
