HOLDING SPACE / FACILITATION & EDUCATION

You can teach a great class.
And still lose the room.

You can care deeply, and still overwhelm yourself. Most facilitators are trained in what they teach. Very few are supported in how they hold people.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK

Holding space isn't about having all the answers.
It's about what happens when you don't.

Real people bring real nervous systems into our rooms. Intensity, shutdown, disagreement, vulnerability, and unexpected moments are part of facilitation. This work helps you meet those moments with more presence, discernment, and capacity.

WHO THIS IS FOR

For the people
who hold the room.

This work is for people who already facilitate or teach:

  • Yoga, pilates, and somatic practices
  • Shibari, rope, and kink education
  • Workshops, group processes, and community spaces
  • Sex education and intimacy work
  • Early-career therapists, awareness teams, and peer supporters

You don't need to be perfect. You just need to be willing to look honestly at what happens in your space.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

“I don't know what to do when someone shuts down, dissociates, or gets overwhelmed.”
“I feel responsible for everyone's experience.”
“I overgive and feel drained after sessions.”
“I avoid conflict or hope things will just pass.”
“Something went wrong in my group and I don't know how to repair it.”
“I want to go deeper but I'm not sure how, or if I can hold it.”

This is where the work begins.

MY APPROACH

Care with
capacity.

I bring together trauma-informed practice, nervous system awareness and co-regulation, harm reduction and real-life group dynamics, and years of experience in queer, embodied, and high-intensity spaces.

It's not about becoming a “perfect” facilitator. It's about staying present when things get complex, responding instead of freezing or over-controlling, and building capacity for yourself and the group.

01 / INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

1:1 Facilitator
Coaching.

Bring the situation you keep thinking about. Leave with more clarity about what to do next.

What can I bring?

  • A difficult moment in a class or workshop
  • Participants who became overwhelmed, shut down, or crossed boundaries
  • Conflict or tension in a group
  • Feeling drained, over-responsible, or stuck
  • Preparing for an upcoming workshop
  • Questions about boundaries, authority, or structure

What will we do?

We'll work with your actual situation, not just abstract theory. Depending on what you bring, we might unpack an incident step by step, notice your own responses, explore different interventions, practice language, or connect the moment to nervous system dynamics.

We'll also ask an important question: What's yours to hold, and what isn't?

Facilitator coaching is not psychotherapy. The focus is on your role, skills, responses and decision-making in group spaces. If personal material arises, we stay oriented to what's relevant to your facilitation.
